In accordance with the core values of The Royal Foundation of St Katharine, Worship, Hospitality & Service, we have a whole host of events to welcome and engage with our community at London’s hidden urban oasis. One such event is our increasingly popular monthly Supper Club.
The clue is in the name, it is a chance to break bread together and share a wholesome & locally sourced meal. But more than that, it is most definitely a chance to unwind and step back from the busyness of modern day life.
The latest Supper Club was a wonderful event with great company and very tasty food. Do not be misguided however, Supper Club is not a wine and dine or silver service kind of event. It is more about sharing food across the table, similar to a large family dinner. The emphasis is on meeting new people and sitting down together to share a meal.
If you wish, you can also join us for a short meditation at the start of the evening. The timings will be as follows:
Meditation 6.45pm (optional)
There is something very humbling and inherently intimate and friendly about sitting at the table, holding a conversation and eating some food with people. Some of the very best friendships can come out of situations like this which is one of the reasons we hold the event.
If you would like to sit down with friends and share some supper and conversation, we would love for you to join us at our next Supper Club which takes place on Wednesday 10th May.
